Basic manners is designed to teach essential behaviours that every dog should know and is designed for dogs with little to no formal training experience. We will teach you the foundational behaviours for a responsive, obedient dog.

Who should attend? Our basic manners classes are open to any dog over the age of 4 months that have little to no formal training.
Class curriculum:
- Attention/focus, name response
- Come when called (recall)
- Sit & Lay Down
- Loose leash walking
- Stay
- Leave it (impulse control/ calm around food)
- Settle/ go to bed or crate
- Polite Greetings
Requirements:
- All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations including rabies (titer testing accepted), DHPP and Bordatella. Proof of vaccination is required prior to the start of class.
- For the safety of all students, dogs may not exhibit aggression towards people or other dogs.
- Willingness to train using positive reinforcement and treats for each class.
